Scratched discs don't necessarily need to be replaced. Retro Realm offers professional disc resurfacing for video games, CDs, DVDs and other compatible optical discs. Resurfacing removes a microscopic layer from the damaged surface of the disc, reducing or eliminating scratches that can cause skipping, freezing, read errors or playback problems.

We use an ELM Eco Pro 2 professional disc-repair system, commercial equipment designed specifically for optical-disc resurfacing. This is considerably different from hand polishing or consumer scratch-removal products and allows us to restore many heavily scratched discs to a clean, smooth playing surface.
